The Science Museum of Minnesota played host to the Dead Sea Scrolls, one of the greatest archeological and historical discoveries of our time. As part of the larger contextualization of the show, the exhibit ended with over a dozen signature pages from the Saint John’s Bible, the first complete handwritten and illuminated Bible to be commissioned in 500 years.

Under the direction of lead designer Christy Johnson, I created all of the stanchions, labels and wall installations for this exhibition. We worked with the wonderful Saint John’s Abbey and University of Collegeville, MN, and our exhibit designer Dick Leerhoff to develop a modern parallel as a capstone to the Dead Sea Scroll experience.

		<description>We took the launch of Memberly as a starting point for creating our own -of-the-month club. Steepster is a thriving tea-enthusiast community built by Disrupto early in 2009, so we created a premium loose-leaf tea sample subscription. Part test kitchen for running a subscription on Memberly and part experimental foray into physical products, Steepster Select needed a simple yet flexible graphic design system for our subscription boxes and tea-sample bags.

As part of this wonderful team and under the direction of exhibit designer Roger Barrett, I created a comprehensive graphic design system for each of the galleries.

With bold punches of color, breezy illustrations and instructions, lots of content layering and a ton of Neutraface Slab, the visual design was adapted across over 13,900 square feet for each of the custom-built and off-the-shelf interactive exhibits.

With live-updating stats and a chatroom hosted by MSG personalities, KnicksNow Live (later known as MSG Xtra) was an experience built for fans looking to get the most out of each game. MSG Xtra was heavily promoted on MSG Networks as the place to get behind-the-scenes coverage and live video from the MSG commentators while they were off the air.

		<description>Science Buzz is a socially-driven website focused on current events and emerging science started by the Science Museum of Minnesota. It also is featured on numerous kiosks and exhibit components in museums around the country. Many of these exhibits have a completely different visual style than ours at SMM, so we developed a more streamlined template for easy theming for both these kiosks and special exhibits.
